NEW YORK, July 14, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — As the FIFA World Cup 2026\u2122 enters its final phase, HITN MEDIA<\/strong>, the nation’s leading Spanish-language public television network serving Hispanic audiences, is celebrating the successful transformation of its iconic Brooklyn Navy Yard rooftop into the New York broadcast headquarters for New World TV<\/strong>‘s summer soccer coverage.<\/p>\n

PGS<\/strong> Group<\/strong> of France, a leading international media services company specializing in broadcast operations and content distribution, is managing the production, which has transformed HITN’s waterfront studios into a world-class international broadcast center delivering FIFA World Cup 2026\u2122 coverage to more than 90 million viewers across Sub-Saharan Africa.<\/p>\n

After evaluating multiple New York City locations, New World TV, a Pan-African broadcaster transmitting the tournament across the continent, selected HITN<\/strong>‘s 23,000-square-foot rooftop terrace for its unparalleled Manhattan skyline views and the technical infrastructure required to support a complex, large-scale live broadcast operation.<\/p>\n

Over the past several weeks, approximately 40 international broadcast professionals have operated from Brooklyn, producing live programming from infrastructure that houses presentation studios, production offices, and a technical operation hub, supported by HITN Media<\/strong>\u2019s state-of-the-art facilities providing connectivity, power distribution, technical production services, and transmission support.<\/p>\n

Project management for HITN Media<\/strong> has been led by Juan Pablo Santos<\/strong> of Wood Creek Road Productions<\/strong>, coordinating the operational, production, vendor, and partner needs required to support the successful execution of the international broadcast hub.<\/p>\n

The rooftop facility offers a unique combination of expansive outdoor production space, unobstructed skyline views, high-capacity fiber connectivity, technical support areas, offices, makeup and green rooms, secure access, and proximity to Manhattan.<\/p>\n
