Business book authors and publishers can also enter this nationwide contest. Current college students are also eligible to apply in the NextGen category.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The 2026\u00a0EFJ Awards consist of 13 awards in 10 distinct categories.\u00a0Entries can be\u00a0submitted\u00a0for one or more of the awards,\u00a0making sure that they conform to the\u00a0topic and format. The categories are the following:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>  Excellence in Financial Journalism Book Award\u00a0  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each entry receives full consideration by a select panel of judges, composed of CPAs and financial journalists. All entries will be scored according to three\u00a0parameters: Accuracy of Reporting; Readability,\u00a0Clarity\u00a0and Style; and Effectiveness and Impact.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>All entries must be received by\u00a011:59 p.m.\u00a0EST,\u00a0June 30, 2026.\u00a0Entry fees are $75 for the first submission and $50 for each\u00a0subsequent\u00a0entry from the same contestant. The NextGen Award\u00a0initial\u00a0entry fee is $20. Any\u00a0additional\u00a0NextGen submissions from the same contestant are $10.
