What:<\/strong>\u00a0A\u00a0special\u00a0screening\u00a0of Ken Burns\u2019 new documentary \u201cThe American Revolution\u201d\u00a0followed by\u00a0a\u00a0panel discussion.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Following the documentary, attendees can take part in a thought-provoking conversation with JMU historian Rebecca Brannon, JMU political scientist Howard Lubert, and Patrick Campbell, director of the Center for the Constitution at James Madison’s Montpelier, on the evolving meaning of democracy, freedom, and revolution\u2014from 1776 to now.\u202f\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
